12-month parts & labour warranty on every repair. No small print.
What happens after you call
Five phases. Real costs. No surprises. Scroll through exactly what we do and what you pay — from the moment the phone rings to the moment we hand over your warranty card.
Call Logged
Your call hits our dispatch desk — not a call centre. A real technician takes the details: door type, fault description, address. We confirm availability on the spot and lock in a two-hour arrival window. No automated menus, no ticket numbers.
Typical time from call to confirmation: under 4 minutes.

Technician Dispatched
The nearest available technician loads their van — springs, cables, rollers, motors, track sections. We carry parts for 94% of residential and commercial door types, so the first visit is almost always the last. You get an SMS with the technician's name and ETA.
Average dispatch-to-arrival: 47 minutes across Cape Town metro.
On-Site Diagnosis
The technician inspects the full door system — not just the obvious fault. Springs, cables, rollers, tracks, motor, safety sensors. A written quote is handed over before a single bolt is turned. You decide what gets done. No pressure, no surprises.
Diagnosis takes 15–25 minutes. Quote is valid for 48 hours.

Repair & Test
Work begins only after you approve the quote. Worn parts come out, new parts go in. Every repair is tested through 10 full open-close cycles before the technician calls it done. If anything feels off — balance, speed, noise — it gets adjusted until the door runs silent.
Most residential repairs completed in 45–90 minutes.

Warranty Activated
Before leaving, the technician completes a service sheet listing every part replaced, the serial numbers, and the labour performed. You get a printed copy and a WhatsApp PDF. The 12-month warranty activates automatically — call-backs are free, no questions asked.
Warranty covers parts and labour. Transferable to new tenants.

Spring Failure
A snapped torsion or extension spring leaves the door immovable. Never attempt to force it.
Torsion springs are wound under extreme tension — a single spring stores enough energy to lift a 120 kg door. When one snaps, the door loses all counterbalance. Forcing a motor to compensate burns it out within days. We replace both springs simultaneously (single-spring replacement is a false economy) and set the correct tension for your door's exact weight.

Track Misalignment
Bent or shifted tracks cause rollers to jump, leaving the door hanging at an angle.
Cape Flats south-easters flex garage structures over time, gradually bending horizontal tracks out of plane. Once a roller pops off, continued operation grinds the track edge flat. We re-bend or replace the affected section, re-align vertical tracks to plumb, and replace any rollers with flattened wheels — nylon for quiet, steel for heavy commercial doors.
Motor Burnout
Load-shedding surges kill motor control boards. Symptoms appear 24–48 hours after power returns.
South Africa's grid instability produces voltage spikes on power restoration that destroy unprotected motor control boards. We stock boards for Centurion, APC, Gemini, ET and FAAC systems. Where the board is beyond repair, we assess whether a full motor replacement (R 3,200–R 5,800 supply and fit) is more economical than a backorder board. All new motors include a surge protector as standard.

Panel Denting
A reversed-into panel doesn't just look bad — it compromises the door's structural rigidity.
Sectional door panels are structural — they transfer load between hinges. A heavily dented section flexes under spring tension, accelerating hinge wear and eventually cracking the steel skin. We source matching replacement panels from Merlin, Henderson, and Centurion ranges. Where an exact match isn't available, full-panel replacement in a complementary finish is often more cost-effective than bespoke fabrication.
